Charitable Giving
Community Granting Applications and Recipients
The Hill Classic endeavours to fund Ottawa-based charitable organizations that serve the needs of youth up to 18 years of age. Specifically, favourable consideration is given to community-based organizations that submit a grant proposal that:
- defines the number of youth who benefit from the initiative or program;
provides an appendix outlining the community-based organization’s past successes; and
includes, a communication plan for raising public awareness for the funding once granted.
The application must also:
- demonstrate that the community-based organization has a proven management team and strong community involvement; and,
provide evidence of the community based organization’s rigorous accounting practices.
